EternalTiber is a prelude and a promise by Kristin Jones created with the idealism of many collaborators and volunteers across two decades. This website is both an archive and proposal for Piazza Tevere a grand open-air site on the Tiber River in the heart of Rome. Jones founded Tevereterno onlus in Italy in 2004 proudly envisioning and realizing programing on the Tiber River. Piazza Tevere was inaugurated in 2005 with Jones’s monumental She Wolves frieze. Triumphs and Laments, 2016, by William Kentridge is the most recent ephemeral project produced under Kristin Jones’s artistic direction.
